#3: Morality

1. What Is Morality?

Morality is the human way of defining right from wrong, whether it being actions, or our thoughts, and what is good or bad about ourselves.

2. Where Do Morals Come From?

Morals comes from neither physical objectives or transcendent thoughts. Morals come from utilitarian thoughts and is culture-dependent. Saying this, morals do not come from physical things, and are completely based on the way you are brought up. Morals are completely neurologically related.

3. Do We Need Morals?

I believe that we need morals as a sense of judgement whether it being for defining the right from the wrong, or judging our actions and thoughts. I believe that they help you to make the right decisions.

4. What Would You Do In The Scenario Below?

You find $20 on a bus seat. What are the moral implications? What should you do? What would you do?

In this scenario, there are many moral implications brought up. The first one is being "Do I take it?" or "Do I alert the bus driver of the situation and turn it in?". The right thing would be to alert the bus driver and turn it in knowing that someone has lost it, and are maybe looking for it. But judging right from wrong, some people would take it. Myself personally, would turn it in and hope for the best.
